Who we are

This policy explains how Jen Edwards, trading as Jen Moves You (“we”, “us”), collects and uses your personal data when you visit this site or make a purchase. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we’re the “data controller” of that information. Contact us at jen@jenmovesyou.co.uk.

What we collect

• Your name, email address, and phone number, given at checkout.
• Payment details, handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
• Anything you type into a workshop assignment box or resource worksheet.
• Basic technical data (like your general location and device type) via advertising and analytics tools used on this site.

How we use it

• To process your payment and give you access to what you’ve bought.
• To send you the emails needed to run the workshop (access links, reminders, assignment confirmations).
• To keep a record of your purchase and communications with us in our CRM, so we can support you properly.
• To let you book a 1-1 call, if you choose to.
• To improve our marketing, including showing relevant ads to people who’ve visited this site.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and business. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job:

• Stripe — processes payments.
• GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — our CRM, used to manage your details, tag what you’ve purchased, and run our booking calendar.
• Wistia — hosts the workshop videos.
• Resend — delivers transactional emails.
• Vercel — hosts this website.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — if you arrive from a Meta ad, a pixel on this site helps us measure and improve that advertising.

We don’t sell your personal data to anyone. Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EU; where that’s the case, they operate under recognised data protection safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, mainly to remember your progress through the workshop and to run the Meta advertising pixel mentioned above. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking them may affect how well the site works for you.

How long we keep it

We keep your purchase and contact records for as long as needed to support you, meet our accounting/tax obligations, and maintain our own business records — typically for the lifetime of our relationship plus a reasonable period after.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email jen@jenmovesyou.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Children

Our products and this site are intended for adults running or building a business, and are not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
